sputtering durring hard acceleration

I have an 02 gtp with slight mods such as cold air intake, zzp pcm, and zzp downpipe with no cat. I have been experiencing that when I accelerate hard my car will sputter out it threw a code which they said it had to do with running rich or something but there machine couldn't tell me exactly what it was any idea where I could start to fix this problem??
