Springtech Struts????

I can tell you from experience, I would not mess with them. If you want your ride to remain cushie and stuff, I would go with the quickset. Anything aftermarket, ie the KYBs and these Springtechs are going to ride a lot rougher. I had the KYB GR2's for almost 2 years before I got my new GTX and I refused to put them on. They road simply to harsh for my liking.

I got the newer KYB AGX's but they too ride a bit rough. I have them set to 1 out of a setting of 4 and they ride better than the old GR2s. But not by much I am afraid to say. So it would be wise to stick with getting ACDelco struts or the quickset if you want to keep that cushie feeling when you drive.

Hey I've never really heard any reviews on these but i was looking into them a while back. Im still thinking about it and the W-body store use to sell them before suspension tech ran out. thanks for posting this because im still interested in them

Im guessing you run these with lowering springs. Hows does you car ride because ive heard that ppl experience some pogo going on and ive also heard the struts will go faster? not sure how much of this is true but its always nice to have another opinion.

Me? I have and I still recommend them depending on the spring. Not everyone needs AGXs for lowering springs.

Ok yea now i remember reading bout that. After about 1 inch drop you should go to AGX's but you could prob get away with a 1.2" drop of GR-2's correct?

That's my recommendation. Anything over 1" go AGX. Until then you're fine. I'm sure others will disagree but I have installed over a dozen different setups even including a setup with stock struts, no pogo.

Went with the Monroe Quick struts, and could not be happier. Gained ride Height, Very great cushioning and handling. NO MORE CLUNKING :) !!!!!!!!! Anyone looking for Struts should go with Monroe. Plus I got them for a steal of a price, with just a little bargaining at O'Reily.

They are a great alternative for thise that want a completely assembled setub but they are by far the softest ride made for out cars. Great for a stock replacement not a performance upgrade in any way.
