Springs? Ported Heads VS Cam

Hey all!
What's goin into my car...
Fully ported heads stock valve sizes
Ported LIM
Ported M90 gen 3
N*/LQ4
VS Cam
Headers

Currently it's all sitting on my workbench with LS 90lb Springs & Retainers....

What I'm wondering is should I upgrade my springs to crow 105s or should I go even bigger with a double roller?

Thanks!

Nope I'd use the ls no sense in spending money on a another set of springs when you already have some that will be fine with the vs cam.

Install a new stock chain/tensioner with the cam install and you should be good with the 90# springs on the VS

You could run 105's with the VS but I wouldn't go beyond that but at that point you might want to go double roller timing chain.

Need heaver springs for higher rpm shift points. What shift points do you want to run? Stock rpm stick with 90# springs.

Does your cam require deleting the balance shaft?
The choice of single roller or double roller is what dictates the deletion of the balance shaft, you need to pull the gear from the front of the balance shaft if you decide to run a double roller timing chain for clearance reasons.
Easiest just to pull the gear off the balance shaft and let it sit idle as opposed to removing it all together, removing it entirely will force you to plug the hole it sat in to prevent a loss of oil pressure or else it's gonna hammer some bearings in no time and be knock knock knockin on heavens door!
