springs or shocks????

Is there a way I can test to see if my strut or spring is bad? Eventually I'm going to replace both but I want to know which is bad?

Springs sag or snap.

Otherwise do the bounce test, push down really hard on a corner like it's hitting a bump and watch the rebound, see how many times it goes up and down before it stops moving again.

Ok because i can compress the spring by hand after me and a buddy looked at it and I have bad ass sag so I'm thinking 4 lowering springs

Depending on the miles I would just replace everything. Why do everything twice if you don't need to. Get whatever lowering springs you want and some KYB Excell G's and call it a day.

Money is the issue that's why I plan I plan on splitting the build in between work school and 2 kids and wife time and money are thin
