• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Spray On Chrome

The LED guy....
While watching the Speed channel I watched a different video of this process but this video goes in depth and shows you exactly how its done. It isn't real chrome but I am sure that it is way way cheaper and you can do it yourself.

That's interesting, and it works infinitely better than the "chrome" spray paint I bought once (it was barely even matte silver). It doesn't quite look like it's something individuals can easily buy yet, though.

I have a friend with a paint/body shop and he does this... Hardcore stuff, but it is pricey. His tester/show off pieces were made of a soft aluminum that were chromed, usually silver/blue/red transition chromed to show the color abilities, and he would shatter the shaft with a hammer to show that it wouldn't chip when hit hard, the shaft would break but the chrome stayed bonded to the metal. Pretty amazing stuff, but like I said... it comes with a price.
