Spray brake cleaner all under the engine?

Howdy howdy everybody, I have spent way too many studying hours on here in the past 2 days, but it has been well worth it!!! I fear that we might need a new printer in the computer lab though.
Okay, I have some major issueSSS but before i can determine where the leakSSS are, i need to clean the off the under side of the motor and hoses. The tow truck guy said greese lighting, but i've read on here about using break cleaner. Any reccommendations? and Should i be careful to not spray anything besides the altenator and fuse box? I appreaciate your time, ~Ty.

Side note, i believe the possible fluid leaks are transmission fluid (had that one for quite sometime), slight oil, possibly some antifreeze, and as of saturday, now brake fluid...(will post later on how repairs are coming)

97 GP GT Stock. 180,000 miles. Okay, thanks again any and everybody that can help.

Try some engine degreaser before the brake cleaner. I used grease lightning and it worked pretty good. Cleaned the harder areas with a little elbow grease and rinsed off the remaining dirt and grease.
