• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Speedomer/HUD

You can display both GPS and PCM speed in Torque Pro. The needle just pulls off and push back on. To take the cluster apart you have to pull the needles off.

I think i will just live with it, I don't really see myself taking this cluster apart for that as if the needle breaks that's worse. Thanks for the suggestions, its appreciated..

It is really easy to fix. I just removed my cluster and it took me 2 minutes and 40 seconds. You need a flat head screwdriver and 7mm nut driver. Open drivers side door and pry side dash panel off. Pull center faceplate that covers the ignition switch, radio, heater controls, etc loose by the ignition switch. Watch ignition switch cover go flying. Remove 2 screws under dash and one behind side panel. Pull lower dash off. Pull dash panel off that is around instrument cluster. Remove 4 screws holding instrument panel in. Remove instrument cluster. Remove cover. Use screwdriver and pop needle. Put cluster back in dash. Go drive down street at 10 mph GPS speed and stick on needle while driving at speed. It is really easy.

I'm and not concerned it will be too hard, I have taken apart many dashboards. The needle breaking is the concern. Installing the needle while in motion, just no. The car should be on stands for that. Thanks for the input, its appreciated.

The needles are friction fit. Pull off and push on small metal shaft. They come right off. I put my speedo needle exactly on the zero line with the engine idling and it is accurate. I put the tach needle on watching the RPMs on Torque Pro to match. Fuel and Temp I do with vehicle off and needle at bottom of gauge.
