Speed Daddy install issue

Well, my headers are 99% put on. The only issue im having is the location of the o2 sensor bung. I tried using an air hammer to dent the firewall in but for some reason it didn't work. I know it wouldn't be very advisable to do this, but could i grab an o2 extension and relocate the upstream to the downstream area temporarily until i can throw my car on a lift and use a small sledge hammer to dent the firewall. My other option is to buy one of the o2 elbows from ZZP.

you can move the bung. mines in the cross over pipe, im sure down in the goose neck area would be fine too.

you can cut the o2 plug off the cars harness and add wire to it to make your own extension.

My parts car has an extension harness already on it along with a different trans dipstick that doesn't get in the way of the headers. And on a side note, you always seem to be the first post on anything i post lol.

I tried that. Ill need to get it on the lift though to get some power at it. The air hammer didn't work, but i might not have been using it right.

what im saying is you can install the o2 in that bung for now. with out beating the firewall. if you need to get around, then you also know exactly where you need to beat the wall in.

i had to go at it on a angle, it just clears the fire wall. it hits when the engine moves.

if you have the engine pulled forward let it go back you'll have more room.

Trying pulling the motor forward, then installing the o2 then putting it back into Its original position.. Or just letting it go back (unhooking both dogbones) maybe you'll be able to get it in then.

air hammer didn't work for you? I was able to massage the firewall with one.. quite a few times.. You need to mark where the sensor goes and remove the rear header again.. it's not bad if you keep the jack under it.

How do these companies mock-up their product ? How did it fit for them?
same issue across various platforms
they make a cold air intake for a mustang. The MAF is too big and does not fit in the CAI at all. Can't even modify it as the MAF would still be exposed
the v6 headers they make for the eclipse , the front and rear cross over pipes don't align or meet up at all. It's shifted 3" to the right and there is a. 4" gap between the two. You have to cut the flanges and have a shop weld them together AFTER heating and moving them in alignment. This also stressed the flex section.

So the option is $1,100 set of pipes from 1 company. No way am I going to buy that until I get my SDS super charger installed

I'm just surprised that SD hasn't moved the bung location after all this time. I used a ball peen hammer on the firewall about 4-5 times and it worked out perfectly.

They already did one revision, my psych teacher had an older style set and the crossover didn't come close to fitting and needed to be cut/welded

I got the o2 on by removing the rear header and beating the **** out of the fire wall with a ball peen hammer. It worked like a charm. I just got done taking the car around the block while scanning for KR. I am now KR free...
