Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

speed daddy headers

About to install some headers on my buddies gtp, what exactly needs to be done with the headers flexpipe and what clamps do I need and how many?

2, 2.25 and 2, 3 inch band clamps. clearance the fire wall for the o2, and add a o2 extension or make one.

follow billboost37's header install how to.

Remember that if you make an o2 extension harness you need to make it before the o2 sensor harness, if you cut and splice the harness for the o2 sensor the o2 sensor will no longer work.

AKA cut the car side o2 plug off, add 3 feet to it. run the new wire down the pass side fender to the rack area, then to the o2 sensor.

if you try going the short way chances are the wires will get melted.

i zip tied the wires to the vac line on the fire wall.

Its my car. About the flex pipe, do you replace it with a new higher quality flex pipe section or do I just get my local muffler shop to weld in a solid pipe. I dont want it blowing out on me like theyre known for.

you can have the flex replaced before installing, (as well as have the U bed taken out too) snow flake did a how to on it. in the free headers thread.

or just run it as it. its up to you and your budget.

i have 3 sets of them running between me and 2 friends, couple years on all of them and they are all just fine as they came out of the box still. Definitely do not put a straight pipe in for the flex. It won't work, it needs to have some wiggle room.
