Copper RTV will work, that's what I used on my install.

I used that also (on the cross over sections) just curious if it would/could work around the egr. I'll still give it a shot

Yeah, it worked on the EGR, just make sure you let too much get in there, be bad to suck some into your intake.

Got block off plates from ZZP and some Copper RTV Spray sealed up good.

I tig welded a plug into my egr port in the header, and slipped the egr tube back into it, and bolted it on. When we tuned my car, we put "no report" for all egr codes.

After tightening everything up, my distinct "ticking" sound under acceleration now kinda sounds like a tractor/harley (quieter though, hard to explain lol), am I still driving around with a small leak? I'm using the race pipe until I can make it legal with CAT. Is this sound normal at all?

u have an exhaust leak.
