• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Never mind... I opened the links you provided.... that amp will run that box just fine. Kicker usually underrates their amps so it will push a little more power than rated. In my opinion I think it will sound fine. I think kicker makes decent stuff... it isn't the best but certainly is not the worst.

They recommend the Kicker CX600.1

You can wire one in if you want... If you live in an area where cops hate bass and loud music, if would be faster to hit the kill switch then the mute button. The kill switch will shut the amp off that powers the subs, so you only lose the bass, not the whole system.

Did you get the stuff installed yet? I just picked up a Kenwood Excelon amp, sub and box yesterday. Out the door for $260. Not the greatest in the world but certainly not the worst. Amp is good to 500 watts RMS and the sub to 400. Will be running at 300 watts RMS as is which will be good enough for me for now.
