Speaker Wire Plug-Ins

So, I pulled my front speakers on my '99 non-Bose and there's two places to plug the speaker into the harness. Mine was plugged in on the one behind the speaker, with nothing plugged into the outside-upper one on the outer speaker molding. Anyone know why there's two? Should I plug into one over the other? Its pretty straight forward to take the neg and pos off speaker from the outer plug off the speaker and put it on my new ones.

And I can plug my old speaker into either plug and it works. I guess I just want to make sure I'm safe using the second one and there's not some reason for there being two and one being used over the other. lol

Thanks in advance!

My car has two like that but the end one continues on to the tweeter up in the pillar. I don't think there should be any repercussions to using either.

Oh, duh, lol, forgot about the tweeter in the door panel with my door panel off and out of the way. So, I suppose I'll need to connect both sets to the new speakers to retain the stock tweeter, or do I even need the stock tweeter since my new speakers have one built-in? Never fooled around with car audio before, heh.

I would recommend using them. They give you a better sound stage with them being higher up in tge door. Also a decent set of tweeters will make a huge difference in your sound quality.
