I need to have all my speakers replaced so I'm wondering what brand is good to get? Not looking to spend a fortune, I'm not sure if I will have the car much longer. If anything I may just do the front door speakers. I get a lot of "spitting" from my right speaker with any decent volume. Also...what can be done for better soundproofing?

What kind of quality are you looking for? Just average or?

Ive just installed a set of speakers in my Prix. The car has been a budget car and all the old speakers the Surrounds were dry rotted off. I installed the Cheap Scosche speakers available at walmart, I expected them to sound like crap, But to my suprise they actually sound pretty decent. Running about 29$ for the 6.5's and 33$ for the 6X9's
