• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Spartans Spring Upgrades.

Spartan GL

Specialist Walter US Army
This winter had to do some Repairs and when i get my nicely sized tax return its upgrade time again

will be doing some shopping around online but i know most of the members on here know where the best deal/brand are

Going to be doing the following

New Struts/springs (thinking KYB/eibach)
12-F-body Calipers with Baer pads & SS brake lines
Drilled and slottted Rotors
Cam
F/S Intercooler
2.8/3.0 S/C Pulley

Eibach's go WAY lower than Vogtland's...and even though they offer a pretty far drop...example...about 2" from what I've seen...Vogtland's are lucky to drop your car an 1". Same with the sprintech's I have...

agreed on their ride quality, but compared to stock they ride rough and some people arent willing to deal with that.

Sadly that's what you have to deal with when you go lower the easy way. I'm sure you can build your own coilovers for a soft ride.

even with coilovers the fact still remains: the lower you go, the harsher the ride. you have to make up for lack of strut travel somehow.

well i think ill go with the volt when i get my new struts

because i want it to ride smooth and get somewhat near stock wheel gap.

vogtlands arent a drop. vogtlands is how te car should look stock AT LEAST. i say learn not to be a lil ***** and get a nice drop.
