Looking good Joey....also that junkyard GP has some explaining to do....

But I think you should have used the money you've put into your GP to help other people who have GP's stop their addiction, and kick the habit, so that they can be happy once again.

Joey..it's packed and going out the door today from your Friday pm. Better yet it's already modded from being on my car.

You know you will need the newer style alt right?

Seriously? i need a different altnator? son of a *****... might as well spring for a High output one. any suggestions on an aftermarket one?


Also ZZP Longer front and Rear Stainless lines arrived in the mail today.. Photos in a bit

i gotta look in my boxes of parts that i still have left..

I think some of my sensors on my TB are missing (i upgraded to the N* TB) and sold the old one...

Vac line harness is MIA i think and BBV i gotta check to see if these are in the boxes

i have a gen v also im going to be converting soon i have a 97 i herd about needing the different bracket, but do i just need the bracket or alternator and bracket? not to sure

no you dont need it unless you are going to use a inter cooler, see pics on last page.

if you change the bracket you need the alt too.

You don't need the bracket unless you're going intercooled.

Joey...got the pm.

Bracket and BCS/BCA (turbo's have bbv's). Anything else? the bolts maybe? Ok, I'll put the alt bolts in. If you want a higher output alternator, get one from a 2K Bonneville/PA. It'll be 125amp vs 105amp. I got mine from a JY for $25. Just a suggestion.

Eddie.. I have pics of how to make the alternator with wtih a Gen V. Go into my photobucket and look in "Build up misc". It fits with a little work at the most. No relo needed.

Was thinking of going with a chrome highoutput aftermarket one. I recently got one for my brothers 2002 GT Mustang and it looked pretty nice.

unless you have extra dogbone/engine brace bolts i could use those as well i pulled some from a junkyard but they are in crappy condition.

yeah i cleaned up the bolts i pulled from the JY yesterday.. they cleaned up pretty nicely

Blah blah blah. Package is ready with all the crap we talked about. Labels wouldn't print, got them to print about 10am. It'll be dropped at the posty on the way home. I'll drop them off at the airport where the main hub is located to get them moving faster.

VC bolts
Alt bolts
Head studs for ICM bracket
BCS
BCA
Vacuum manifold off top of the perfectly good charger on the shelf ;)
Maybe a couple extra bolts that I forgot.

Post a pic of the bolts when you get the package and we'll tell you where and what. Just don't pull a Dave and put a bolt through your valve cover. :th_lipssealed2: I didn't say that..you guys imagined it.
