spark plugs?

What is the best plugs other than al606 for the 2001 GTP? IM using the Al606 but a friend said use the platinum or e3. What is your thought on this?
 


I'll be the first to say it, but a little research might have found the answer.

But on to the question, if the car is stock and staying that way, Ac Delco 41-101 Iridium Plugs are the factory plugs and the best by far for a stock motor. Platinum and E3 plugs are complete garbage for these motors. The waste spark ignition system will eat them alive and cause nothing but problems.
 
Thank you, can I use any other brands or just ac delco. It only has a cold air intake but and intense ecu n that's it. But my gtx has more done to it other than the SLP. But thank you

What is the gap
 
So I changed the plugs one at a time and know the car is idling like a miss fire and smells like rotten eggs the car ran fine before change just change the plugs cause it was time to change them, so now what is the cat clogged or wtf happen and I changed to wires but did the one at a time
 


Make sure all the plug wires are all the way on. I think you might have just missed something along the way.

Check which cylinder it is, if you have a code reader.
 
For some reason they all won't click when you press down on them but they are are right, but it smells like rotten eggs bro
 
This morning I started the car it idled and then once it got warm and idle dropped to norm it stated to miss need help
 
Rotten eggs is a clogged cat.

I'm betting you haven't got something right.

Whether it be on the coil (should have replaced the wires...if not, there's most likely the issue), or on the plug connection itself.

If you're standing in front of the car it should look like this...

But could a cat get clogged that quick from just shutting it off changing plugs and wires and then starting it up, the car originally had the auto light 606 gap .60 and replaced with the ac dekco 41-101 that five finger death punch said use put those in and new wires and that's when the car started to miss and smell like that could a coil have went out that quick cause I I first started it it sound great on idle and the once the rpms dropped it started to do that and smell and the engine light went from solid to blinking if its a cat I can just gut it or remove it right and use a o2 simulator for it. On my coils its 145236 and each wire is in its correct place im totally stumped on this bro and also if you put it in drive the car tries to die could it be bag plugged wires here is my number to call or text me my name is Austin 256 374 7912
 


it doesnt matter how the coils are labeled, they go as stated above. your wires are on the wrong terminals.
 
get it running first. you may not be getting the cat warm enough yet to actually do what it's supposed to do.

Put the wires on the correct terminals.

If you still have the rotten egg smell after all of that and the car isn't misfiring at idle or under light load, then yes...you could have a clogged cat.
 


Now I have a miss only when you floor it it just happened could that be coils Now I had the motor steam cleaned and this happened after
