Okay well my car started misfiring really bad the other day and a code came up that said cylinder 4 misfire. so i pulled the plug and heres what it looked like

What could cause the plug to look like this

cant see the picture at work, but if the plug is bent/broken/etc. then it only happens when you chip a piston because something was bouncing around in the cylinder.

mods? tune?

usually MELTED plugs come from running way low timing with really high cylinder temperatures. this comes from excessive knock retard or running too small of a pulley with low timing.

How many miles do you have on those AL104's?

I'd say install fresh plugs all around, gapped properly and then scan.

i dont use fuel additives. and my mods are 3.4 pulley, sd headers, 180 tsat, intense tune, al 104's, and exhaust.
Oh and all the other plugs are fine its just cylinder 4. and they were changed early december

I posted a while back about burning coolant. Haven't bothered to change the gaskets yet, and the plugs look a heck of a lot better than that.
