I took down the little ridge between the front and back of the TB. Not enough to break through in any places. Just a nice flow now from intake through TB. Left the center piece alone. Maybe someday down the road i'd mess w/ that but i just want to get this stupid thing running. Been apart so long i'm worried i wont remember how to put it back together.if you did anything with the throttle body you'd switch to the 99+ MAF sensor and completely knock out that center section and clean it all up. porting the throttle body is pretty easy, but you're almost guaranteed to break through the casting and have to fill in places with epoxy/jb weld/etc.
but as stated, you'll have to get the car tuned for it or it'll run all kinds of dumb.
Yeah, got some stuff from there. This other company just has the channel plate gaskets for like super cheap, so was wondering if anyone has used them before.triple edge performance.
Start collecting fines in cash? Loljust pocket some drug money off the next perp you catch. lol more corruption i say. do it! lol
Thats a good idea. Didnt think of that. Thank you.block off EGR. never put it back on.
cut off the flanges from the EGR and seal up those holes, reinstall blocked off flanges. basically free block off plates.
I was going to coin and rtv the egr hole on the LIM but I like your previous idea. I figured welding the exhaust would be easy considering the material.it's what most of us old school guys did.
i used a couple coins and some RTV. you can weld them shut if you want them to be legit, too.
Right, take flange off egr, block that off(in some fashion) and bolt to LIM, for egr port on new exhaust, weld a cover over hole for egr.i RTV'd a coin into the flange cut off the EGR, that's what i meant.
