your right on track for the vette lol
Some Local cops up here run a bakery named "Cops and Doughnuts" super good doughnuts and people from all over have visited this little place .most cops around here have some kind of side business. most of the time home improvements. they run the crews from the cop car, not kidding one bit. do all side work phone calls during the day too. aka while on duty lol
like cops dont make enough around here, they need to run a side business's too.
Guess i was just trying to be minimally invasive, and also maxing my budget as is. Plus i wouldnt know where to start w/ a cam...unless I had help...hint hint...lol.i know plenty of people that work for the municipalities (even cops) and they are all normal people just like the rest of us. i wouldn't expect anything different from you.
so let me get this straight, you're just going to be dropping the whole motor in? not a top swap? why are you not buying a cam?
Yeah, when I said "half the valvetrain" I meant taking off rockers, pulling rods and lifters...I've pulled the front cover too so I know how much fun that can be. I guess I'm just more hesitant from the financial aspect of things. Already looking at 150 in improvements to the trans, 200 for exhaust headers and now potentially another...200-300? for a cam and other parts. Going to have to take up a second job again like I was talking about before..lolAnd if you've done a lim gasket job before it's only a few more steps past that.
Shhhh, now when I come up w/ a wad of cash for improvements they are going to know how I did it. Damn it, now I have to think of another way.Just raid a drug house and keep a bundle of cash!
