All that really says about orientation is face them the same way. It doesn't say which way.

The screen on the oil pickup would only prevent pieces from circulating back into the system. They can drop straight from the connecting rods and journals into the oil pan.LOL I know what a bearing is, what people call it, and 2 cars that have done it. I think there is also a screen on the oil pickup so any "pieces" wouldn't be possible, but anything is possible.
"I" dont see them as bearings because to me they are not, wheel bearing is a bearing.

I picked up 104's. Still gap at .055?103 is to cold for a stock pulley. 104 would work ok down to a 3.2-3.0 range.
