Source for rust free rocker panels

I have an 01 coupe. The outer rockers on both sides are rotted. The rot extends to the inner reinforcement and a little on the lower quarter panel, but not the inner rocker or floor. So it's definitely repairable. Aftermarket replacement rockers are available of course. You can get the inner reinforcement from a dealer if you hunt around, but the inner rocker doesn't appear to be available anywhere.

I think my best bet would be some rust free desert sheet metal. I'm sure the metal retainer that supports my lower body molding is rotted and the moldings themselves have taken a beating so replacing these wouldn't be a bad idea.

Does anyone know of a source out west or down south that would cut the whole rocker assembly off a car and ship it?

Thanks

Do the aftermarket panels start at the lower pinch weld and wrap all the way up to the upper weld? In other words are they the whole outer panel? Top to bottom and front to back?

Check the links previously posted by other members, the pictures there answer your questions. Most people just make the inner. There are pics of people doin it on threads here but it may be buried in a ride thread and I don't know where to find an example. Shipping the salvaged part is not likely to be practical, cost-wise.
