I need to get that done in my car pretty soon. Since my budget is well... Nill. I'll probably be using a mix of Truck Bed liner, expanding foam, and peel n Seal.

I'm curious to hear your guys' opinions and maybe see how you guys did your sound deadening.

I think Cole (Taz Magistererggerer or whatever it is) did that in his trunk.

Might ask him how it turned out.

you want to actually kill sound or what is the purpose here? I like fat mat if your cheap, murdermat, or audio technix. Ive use all that i mentioned with out a hickup. After isntallation of first lair in my trunk, i killed most the sound i hear along the road.
 
I used either hushmat or fat at cant remember exactly which one. Killed a lot of road noise I ended up doing the inside of the doors and some of the floors with what I had left. Some spring time ill end up doing the rest of the floors and trunk. It's not super expensive but I would do it right instead of the peel n seal route.
 
yeah thats why i mentioned those to him, its something if you dont want a nasty smell or mess in the summer. do it right so your panels dont bleed with goo
 


Fat mat is cheap and works pretty well actually. It used to be like $65 for a 100 sq feet, but that was 2-3 years ago(unlabeled, but who cares).
 
fat mat is up to around 50$ for 25sqft. I had just purchased some for a customers car. As long as you apply with heat if it cold youll be great. in the summer it goes on easy.
Any of the matting ive stated is gonna clear up some your road noise and also help improve the audio charatiristics depending on how much and where you apply it.
