Sound crazy? Going full retard.

Well Im overseas in Afghanistan and I hurt the S1X E85 Gen5 sc 2.8 pulley setup I have at home. I was out screwing around on the interstate with some buddies and racing a G8. Long story short I managed to hurt the engine since it blows the vc gasket out on the rear bank by the egr delete. Replace the gasket quick and drove it around the block same thing. I don't know whats causing it but something is pressurizing the crank case and I didn't have time to investigate any further or pull the heads or do a compression test before I left for Afghanistan.

So now cars under a cover in my garage along with the black gutted caged shell I have.

I will do compression test as soon as I get home and see what that entails. If that's bad I will pull the heads. Maybe that engines history I don't know yet. Anyways so here's the debate.

If I have to take that engine apart I might as well take the heaton gen5 off since I refuse to use an A2W setup on a blower car and use the turbo kit that's magically just sitting in my basement. The pluses to this route.

Keep the S1X cam in the car or new engine if need be, that would require less tuning since the car is already on S1X and E85 so its already got 60# injectors ready to go. I have an L26 upper intake and the Gen5 already has the TB adapter so those bases are covered also.

Add in that I have basically and entire cars worth of fresh suspension parts brand new struts and eibach springs and all the mounts and end links.

The Bronzemist coupe is pretty minty body wise with under 100K on it. (even after the 3 wheelin fiasco thanks to the full coverage its as good as new.)

Car has a decent transmission in it as long as I can prevent from assploding more flex plates. (I plan to permanently unfvck that issue with a billet flexplate once I get home.)

Turbo kit has an electric cut out built into it already and Id just have to find somewhere to shove the wideband sensor in since I already have that in a box and an aeroforce is already in the car.

Car has full interior so its still some what useable to put my 2 boys car seats in the back if need be.

Even swinging for 400whp would be pretty easy targer IMO and that would be a nice 70whp pickup over the 330whp it made on the blower setup. Especially on E85 that 400whp number should be a cake walk to hit.

I didn't intend to turbo this car but since I have all the parts just chilling in my basement might as well use it!

Again Im pretty sure it would be simple to make over 400whp on the T70 kit that I already have so its not like Im forking out cash for a turbo kit and the thought of basically bolting on another 70whp to that car is pretty hard to not do.

Car would have clean body, new suspension, full interior, decent trans that's already got 7/8s chain input and TEP valve body in it and I'll pickup a billet plate.

I also already have a set of 130# springs for some added insurance over the 105# springs that are on the car now. Not sure if I'd need to switch to 130# springs because of the turbo or leave it on 105# springs.

This is basically taking the best of everything I have without using the ST5 cam that requires more work to use, heavier valve springs, double roller chain, and maybe headwork. Depending on springs and retainer type I know people have got away with using stock heads.

Anyways who could pass up adding about 25% more HP with parts that I already have?

As for the gutted black shell I have. That needs a little work done and some paint for me to be happy with it so I might as well do that 1st before I go any further with that car. Half tempted to rip the ghetto pluged sunroof skin off get a solid skin from a yard. Just yank the drip rails and spot weld it back in no big deal cars already gutted. Then blast the whole damn car white anyways inside and out cage floor roof engine bay everything.

Rumors are I will be going straight back out to Washington D.C. after this so getting the turbo kit on the bronzemist car so I can troll jayroca and a certain SRT8 I already stomped once is of course on the priority list too............HAHAHAHA!!

So basically ending this someone try tell me this isn't a good idea and at least Id use the fvcking turbo kit unlike ITHURTZ who's car has never seen anything besides vacuum on the boost gauge.... :) and Decker who pussed out and sold his Grand Prix and his man card and his anal virginity and bought a damn Gaybalt...... :)

I mean after all its wreck, rebuild, REPEAT! HAHA!

You'll want at least 130# springs. I still have a Stattama ST2 cam if you wanted to run a turbo specific cam. For the 7/8" to survive driving style must change.

Personally I'd search for a used Z3 kit for the car and save the larger turbo kit for the gutted car.

So if the car is on e85 and doesn't need any a2w intercooler , cause you know - corn, then you shouldn't do any a2a intercooler for the turbo right? Cause e85? ;)

pm heading to greg once i get off work.

and yes im sure even a non ic turbo kit on e85 and st2 or s1x cam would easily hit 400whp. that would be a nice 70 whp pickup.......

I know an Impala that made almost 100whp over 400whp on a T66 turbo setup, HeyPal over on clubgp's Impala when it was turbo....

right i know a t70 e85 whatever cam should make 400whp at stupid low boost not even trying.....

cmon you people all know that i hate a2w because of sealing issues leaking issues pump failing lines breaking or leaking blah blah blah.... fvck a2w on a blower ive never had any thing against a2a. what is there for worry about it leaking big deal dont use ****ty clamps. the kit i have has alot of clamps eliminated its mostly hard piping and very few clamps to worry about.

as for the save the t70 kit for caged car...... nah i refuse to spend retarded mega bucks on unobtanium so that car should get a 4t80 and hence require custom crossover and downpipe anyways.........

Turbo the damn car bring it around dc... Race me.. And lose!!! Lmao!!!!! Ya bish!!

Justifying the a2w IC being a waste because ONLY , and I say again , ONLY the mechanically-challenged people here are the ones having the issues , is "going full retard"

;)

See. An IC is an IC day in day out , supercharged or turbo. It's proven everywhere you make more power with them then without. e85 helps as well.
But don't blame the IC's on idiots here who can't hold a wrench and chew gum at the same time .....

I've got to side with Bob here.. the reasons you hate it are the dumb things that a good system doesn't have issues with.
Sealing: If you suck..the seal will suck. I never have ever had a single install seal issue. Because I used good methods and quality products. You want a leak..use a gasket that's name sounds like GonnaLeak. Then don't look at how it's cut and trust the vendor that has more issues and complains than Comcast.
Leaking: Poor quality product, wrong clamps, badly designed system. There you go.
Pump Failure: This shouldn't be a concern, there are some pumps out there with great records and if you have worries..install a pump flow detect kit. I posted a how to and the parts. So plan ahead and do it right.
Lines breaking: Did you route the lines against a sharp piece of metal and think it wasn't an issue? Again.. quality parts and quality install, you would never have these problems.

Since you want a nice turbo and 80 trans..why not drop an LS into that car with an 80? Have it shipped to Furches.. he'd put that crap together for you and it would be a turn key and smile car.

id Loooooooove to be rocking a ls4 4t80 in the caged car!! however my wallet says no at the moment and the turbo kit and crap i already have to turbo the s1x e85 bronzemist car that sh1ts going to happen.

as for the a2w its just not worth it to me on a sc setup...... e85 all the things if a setup like i have s1x cam NON intergayed gen5 e85 setup isnt enough then go turbo.

non ic setup on e85 enough to assplode flex plates ask me how i know.......

throw away heaton switch to turbo and figure out what the next thing in the trans to break will be. cars getting a billet flex too so im going to guess the 7/8ths chains will be next failure point..... just a hunch.....

Ill have something ready for you and that turd srt8 guy...... hmmm turbo car on e85 and dont you forget i still got that nitrous kit......

i need to get back to wash dc asap!! need to get back on dat perdieum = basically free car parts paychecks!!!! hahaha!!

Tyler, why not merge the two cars together, make a twin car with 4 engines and 8 turbos, with 4 blowers. 1 blower per engine and two turbos per engine. It would be a beat to tune/drive/build.
