Sometimes my Car surges when light throttle

sometimes my car surges when im at light throttle or when cruise in on at 45-60mph and i start up a hill and the car accelerates on its own. im not getting any codes in the transmission or ecm. i have done a trans mission flush about 2k miles ago. the car has 150800 miles on it.

im wondering if its the torque converter going bad. or if i might be able to put a tcc solenoid in it and fix the problem. i am gonna put a zzp a shift kit in and new filter in a couple weeks.

any ideas please let me know

My car has done pretty much the same thing since I got it last year. I've done a fair amount of reading but I haven't made any attempts to fix it because I just don't have the cash.

I've just learned to live with it by punching the throttle a little harder to make it downshift when I go up a hill. I also hold it back to 2nd and 3rd in the city.

I would replace the EPC (pressure control) solenoid as well as the TCC solenoid.

i have found my self downshifting a couple times. im thinking of replacing the solenoids and filter kit along with a shift kit at the same time. i just hope it fixes it and i dont need a torque converter
