Something not right

04 GTP COMP G

Hey eveyone.
The other day I changed the spark plugs in my GTP. I use the AC delco from GM. the gap was already set .60. old ones looked ok but i wanted to change them. I also changed the S/C oil. after allof this i took it out for a drive after it warmed up ane it ran perfect. then we went to the city ( 2 hr drive) when we got close i decided to pass a ricer. well dam when i started to get it wot the car started to chug or miss, like hitting water puddles as one guy told me. WTF did i do. I checked the wires all is good I'm lost on this

plzz help thanks :th_scratchhead:

did you make sure the gap was right? any mods on the car? .6 seems like it might be too big of a gap if youre modded.

hell, i gap mine at .35 so i dont have to worry about it.

Check the wires again. I know they may look okay, but GM puts their wires on and like super glues them on and they sometimes break up when you remove them.

No mods on my car and I checked in my service manual and it said .60 for the gap. and that is where they were at. I did have a heck of a time removing the wires but im positive i didn't break them. But i will check them out .

always check the gap before installing any plugs. 1 could be the proper gap and the others could be off. I would take the time to pull the plugs and check the gap and make sure the wires are on properly

Check your plugs. You make have a cracked plug or a plug wire might be a lil loose. Been there done that. My are gapped @ 0.60, but next change ill gap them 0.55 or 0.50
