Somebody help me please!

Hi Guys! I have a 2000 Grand Prix with a 3.8 no super charge code k. While driving the car hesitates and it dies on me while I come to an idle stop. When I checked the code from the engine light it came out PO171. Anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions???? Thanks

Lean code and symptoms suggest dirty (or broken) MAF sensor.

First, try cleaning MAF sensor with sensor cleaner (e.g., CRC brand) from auto parts store.
