some quick advice/questions

honda owner.
hey guys i've got a few questions, i do a bunch a city driving and i practically live in my car. with that said i pretty much can pick out any slight differences with my cars more then any normal person would.

Okay first question, my heat simply just doesnt get that hot, ive been told i could have air bubble in my system i'm assuming that could be the case. If so then just a fluid flush would help me out right?? also with my HVAC, when my heat is on, no matter what the dual zone climate control will spit out cold air on the passenger side, no matter what, could i remedy this by getting a new control unit or is there a bad wire or something??

Alright and the last of my questions is the most curious of them all...
I bought my car in the end of august when it was still 90 degrees out... zero problems what so ever, it was a one owner with 82000 even. now, if my memory can serve me right, after temperatures got down around 50 and less (its 20 now) for what ever reason... when i'm driving at any speed, and turn the wheel slightly to the right i will hear what basically sounds like a metal Cricket, like the bug... but ONLY when the car is moving, it WILL NOT make this noise when i turn left or just leave the wheel straight. (the higher the speed the louder it is.) now this doesn't affect the driving or braking or steering or alignment or anything. there is just a noise when i turn to the right.
... now should i just brush it off as nothing or could this be potentially something bad???

thank you in advance for any answers
G

That and if it gets worse like starts doing it when you drive strait it could be a wheel bearing it happened to me it only made a noise when i turned left tho then it got worse

YUP! that makes me feel a **** ton better, cause after you said that i drove my car and it got worse so i was like, schniekees im screwed, but a bearing sounds more plausible and gives me alot more peace of mind :D thanks

alright, was planning on finding the issue today, except i stepped out side and its poring rain... if i do have bad bearings... how drivable is the car because i wont be able to work on it now for a few days :(

a bad bearing is one of those surprise attack things. if its bad enough it could go at any time. usually though itll last a little while.

... damn... but what will happen when they go??? obviously ill know when they do but are there any signs before they go???

I've been driving on a bad bearing since September and just finally going to replace it in the next couple weeks only because I can't think anymore while driving cause it's so damn loud lol. Go with a timkin hub if you're going to replace it otherwise you'll be replacing it over and over down the road.

doubt its the bearing, my Gfs gp does the same cricket noise, with all new everything in front end. Gonna tear into it more and hopefully find something

this is all very confusing lol Imma check the bearing when it isn't 19 degrees out like it is today and if theyre chewd up then ill start there.

The Chad: Regarding your heat... is your temperature guage showing cooler than normal?
yea it says its @ 90 but it only pumps out air thats around 70ish degrees if not colder all depends on how hot the engine is, i'm thinkn of just flushing the coolant and see if that does anything with it, cause a coolant flush can never be a bad thing ;)

I mean does the temperature guage on your instrument cluster (coolant temp) show that the car is running cooler than usual.

Flush it out and then get back to us. Hopefully that'll fix you up.

Do you know if the lower intake manifold gasket was ever replaced? If you know it hasn't been, then sniff around the engine after it's been running and let me know if you smell something sweet (coolant).

yes. i can tell you that for a fact, i while ago i was on a cruise with my car club and i got on it and a few of the guys behind me said they saw some smoke puff out when i got it when i raced my buddies firebird... was hoping that it was juist some extra crap gettin burned off, but now that your sayn that, its kind of maKn sense now... damnit, this just one :( face after another lol

just tear the motor apart and replace the gaskets your self its not too hard thats what im doing to mine right now but im finding more and more problems like my lower intake has a hole in it and i need a valve job
