lol its cool man.i thought about mixing my own stuff now
You will NEVER get them to shine with spraycan stuff. Maybe VHT then a good clearcoat out of a spray gun you would get the shine.
Sorry if I rubbed you the wrong way or anyone that used VHT.

VHT nightshade is prolly best for ur tails, to bad i cant do it tho cause i wasted 90 dollars on tinting them and now i cant sand down and clean my tails cause it will ruin the tint so guess i cant VHT mine =\
I wish I knew what you were talking about. If it's tinted it can be "cleaned" off and ready for a retint. Why you'd strip of your tint to REPLACE it with VHT is BEYOND me. The BEST way to tint tails, is to use clearcoat mixed with a little bit of black and break out the spray gun. VHT is just the cheap alternative and has a bluish-purplish "hue" to it.
i never said i was stripping my tint off, READ, u have to sand the tails and wash it for a smooth finish so the paint will go on well, i cant sand since i have tint on, never said anything about removing my tint offI wish I knew what you were talking about. sanding will scrap the tint, for watever reason i think they tinted my taillights on the outside and all the youtube videos iv seen with people painting there taillights is wash with soap and water and sand the lights so its smooth so the paint goes onWhy can't you sand? Usually the last step in painting ANYTHING is finish sanding, then typically buffing and waxing.

obviously i know nothing when i looked on youtube to figure out how to do it...lol but thanks for the advice...... you obviously know nothing. You're supposed to tint on the outside. If you use high grit paper and don't try to punch through it, you won't scrape anything off, and if you did, you go down, take a few layers off, add another layer or two of fresh tint, sand, clear, sand, clear, sand, clear, sand, buff, wax.
I've done it before, I've done paint before, I know HOW to do it, but it's an art, and one that I'm not so very good at, which is why Mike did my second set.
I can tell that you're 15-16 and this is your first car and the first time you've done anything just by the way you type, and what you say.
Honestly, I simply was trying to give you some advice.
