So i was doing more reading and some people say to torque the head bolts an extra 30 degrees in the middle

Well the write up i read said 37 ft lbs plus 120 degeees and that was it so thats what i did. Fingers crossed

Only '97 and '98 heads get the extra 30 degrees of torquing. So if you've got '99+ heads, you don't need that extra torquing.
 
So im having a real difficult time with the o2. I cant get the firewall dented in enough for the o2. Any ideas?

I got a 700ft lb impact. It wouldnt take the crank bolt off so then tried to use the redneck method and that didnt break it either sooo now im out of ideas

you got enough air pressure?

hows the battery? it in good shape? starter trick rips the bolt free every time ive seen it or heard of it being done.
 
take the plugs out if they are in, the engine will spin faster too. leave some slack between the breaker bar and the jack stand or what ever your letting it rest on so it can hit the jack stand and maybe break it free.
