The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
Finally got my 1st one on i just aligned the spring straight the best i could and compressed it enough that the pressuree finally made it pop into place. ( i have an old school spring compresssor that wraps around to the bottom of the valve)
So since im debating buying a rotary/dremel to grind a little off these springs could i also use that to do a light port and polish job and if so what tip would i use. I heard carbide?
It makes sense now that I read the conversation lol my machine shop milled the guide ever so slightly so the springs would sit correctly they also took .060 off the valve guide for clearance.
It all depends on your lift, cam or rockers you put in. That's why most people have some machined off the top of the valve guide just for clearance issues.
Right now i havent measure but eyeballing it i would say there a half inch of cleareance and im planning to get some 1.9s do you know if that will be good??
Ok thanks scotty!! Well one head down, woo hoo! Also i dont really want to spend money on a canned tune so would the car run "good" if i just got a l67 junkyard pcm. That way instead of wasting money on a canned tune i can just get a real one?
