they will. and the TC balts were even more detuned from the factory than the GTP's were way back when. apples to oranges my friend.

GM says the TC does the quarter in 13.9 at 103. fastest one is rumored to be as low as a 13.6
 
I know it had a SC on it... LOL... That is all I know.. I saw it.. Dont remember what the motor was.... So a TC one is about as fast as a 3.4 setup on rockers....
 


we did go from a 30 roll....It might have needed the Driver mod... But I just know what happened to me...
 
in the quarter... if you wanna look at the back half of the track and beyond? the stock one traps 103. it's gonna keep going after that too, that's at the top of third gear/bottom of fourth
 


I'm sorry for being so late to this party, but are we having a real discussion of Cobalt SS vs. GP? I mean, I love the GP but it might as well have come equipped with an anchor compared to that little turbocharged 2-door coupe that they actually gave a **** about.

You never want to race a turbo car from the 1/8th on. That's where they start really embarrassing their opponents.
 
it's a hell of a ride out of a 4 banger, that's for sure. it would embarass my old LT1 firebird from a roll. and from a dig once i learn how to drive it.
 
I would like to race a TC one. Not because "I AM SURE THE GTP WILL BEAT IT" but just because I wanna see how fast they really are.....

I wouldn't race a 'Balt SS. And I've got a ****ing Hemi in my car.
 


You do realize what the "Hemi" name comes from don't you? A lot of cars that aren't designated as Hemis are Hemis.
