I just finished installing a custom made FWI (thanks to every one for helping), but now where do I go from here or rather what would be the next logical upgrade performance wise?
 


how fast do you want to go? how much money do you want to spend? how good are you at working on cars?
 
you could take the route that i have chosen, which was FWI, the 180* T-stat, full exhaust (i'm running slp cat-back with ZZP 3" cat-less DP, PLOG), then intake ( parts about to go on ZZP LIM, Ported Blower) then Port TB after that i am getting ZZP MPS, 1.84 Rocker Arms (or 1.9) then Intercooling, but also remember at some point in time you are either going to have to buy a PCM, go get it tuned or buy HPTuner, i just figure i would complete one thing at a time starting with Intake and Exhaust
 
If you don't have any exhaust mods...I say 3" Downpipe and U-Bend Delete...then 180* T-Stat, Autolite 104 Spark Plugs and maybe new Wires or aftermarket ones...THEN...get a tune ;)
 


Well I'd like to go as fast as possible with whatever money I can scrape up lol. I don't know much about cars, but I'm slowing getting there with the help of my brother since he works on them all day.

As for the 180* T-stat what exactly does that do? I've read a few forums on it but never really found out what it does.

I do not need to buy another car since I just purchased this one 2 weeks ago but thanks for the offer lol. The previous owner put some exhaust on it already so there's not much work to be done there.

What would be the cheapest route to go with all the suggestions you guys have given me?
 
exhuast as in cat back or headers???

cat back wont net you any performance. if your trying to mod to go fast you either need a downpipe/plog or headers.

thats what i would do next.

Just a question nick don't you ever get tired of asking that lol, I know you asked me when I first joined and you ask every other member who joins and says what to do?

that gtp is pretty bad ass but i'm only 19 and the chances of me even making enough money and having my car long enough to where i can make it in the mid 8's is VERY slim lol

oh and from what i've read the 04+ gp's don't have a ubend so that wouldn't be necessary
 
buy an intercooler, drop pullies. end of story.
contact tdcracing for info. do not buy zzps stuff, overpriced. save your money and get more mods is a better deal.
