• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

So what's the big thing for modifying your gtp

So back 10years ago I had slp headers, borla exhaust, 3.25 pulley, CIA, and mad coiacks on the gtp. It was a quick car. Since then, I moved backwards and started to tinker with gen 1 m90 cars, the thunderbird sc. Currently I have a 89 sc and a 95 sc which is the first and last year for the supercharged thunderbirds.

The 89 is a 5-speed and is completely built up motor-wise and has a kenne-bell 1.7 twin screw blower on it. The 95 has what's called the mpx blower, which is basically the best m90 available for the t-birds.

The newer idea with the t-birds right now is coating the blower rotors with the gen5 type of coating. From I coated rotors in the mpx to this coating, good for 30rwhp on a chassis dyno! There is one guy who is working on making a gen5 rotor fit in his m90. From what I understand, the gen 5 rotor has a slightly different pitch to it from the earlier blowers. How much improvement do you all think he will see?

looking forward to hearing some feedback from you gtp fanatics! Btw, I do own a 2004 park avenue ultra, so I'm still in the game. I keep it stock and perfect though.

Gen 5 coating is just more durable from what I've heard so new coating will just restore lost power from your rotors peeling over time.

Correct, and when you run the blower, it clearances itself to perfect tolerance. The mpx case is suppose to have a tighter tolerance to rotors and is more ridged. Obviously it is not a perfect still though.
