good grief...any f'er that can;t break into the 14's with a fox is a tard.....92 hatch, headers, 3:73's and maf. runs 8.40's with et streets. any smart ass can bench race....and i don't know who's pu$$y is bigger,,, but rob what was off on ur tune??? if he hasn't had car long he may just not have any seat time...get some tires on ur car, when we going to Steele?

dude just got his car last week. he has no seat time. i adjusted somethings with fueling (PE a/f vs rpm vs time to be specific) and it did not work out well. got a few little things to work out. probably gonna have a rematch soon.

might make it out to steele in the next couple of weeks.

first race car was in tap shift, it did not want to up shift and yes, if that sounds like 6800 rpms thats because it was damn near close to that :D

i was also on 225 kumho DR's.

the difference for my car from this time and last time is the tune. last time it was knocking like crazy, and well this time i was only on 87 octane :D

Agreed. It wasn't. I've got a 13 second fox you can race and it'd put 5+ cars on your GTP because the SN95 car it was racing ran a 14 flat...especially if your shifting at 6800...that's just ignorant. The power band pretty much ends at 6200 unless your running a high lift cam. Even then your still not making anymore torque. Yay valve float. A bone stock 5.0 fox with a 4.10 gear and even a few bolt ons would have trouble touching 13's.

shift points are set at 5800, i just like taking it to 7k :th_laugh-lol3:

tap shift did not want to shift.............

87 octane??? many people tune there cars on 87 octane, you dont have to run premium. 87 also gets better gas mileage. im not tuned for 87 but the pcm pulls timing in accordance for that :th_thumbsup-wink:
 
I don't care if it is tuned for it...running poo poo octane on a boosted car to save you what? $3 at the pump?

technically buddys mustang has MORE mods than the video you posted, and he was walking out on a known 14 flat sec car. hummmmmmmm

my car went 14.1 at 98 on some slick ass street tires cutting 2.18 60" with intake and leaking ass pacesetters. i could have went 13's that day with some okay tires. but it has more mods since then :th_thumbsup-wink:

i think my car could go 13.60's. if you watch the video, he stops my pull then manages to pull out on me a car. soooo 1.5 cars in all, and we only raced from about 40-90. thru a 1/4 with him pulling like that, no dought in my mind he could get .5 secs ahead of me at the 1/4.
