Because some guy on the truck board that I'm a member of who lives down in houston , his silverado was stolen for 2 weeks. They found it running in a field and it was just trashed on the inside, they were running mexicans in from the boarder. Ripped out the rear seats and everything. Oh and a neat thing about the PK3 keys is that once you start it it will run but if you turn it off and try it again without the key it won't start, so his truck was running for 2 weeks straight and they piled on 7,000 miles in that time.

Believe or not, No. My location in West Texas is popular with vehicle theft though. They steal them and go straight to the border. Actually, it was a group of kids that were stealing cars around town. Even stole a local cop car! Lol

I have two L67's from 04&05impSS'. 05 is a parts car. 05 engine&trans had less miles,(125k) so started her first.
So here's my plan..
05 L67 stock&slightly mod
SD Headers, Port polish SC TB, just polish on Manif, rebuild rockers Springs, seals stock, check/clean lifters, injectors, any certain way to check?,CAI, tune, trans kit install, all fluids, mounts and gasket will be replaced, painted, coated...alot of coating, I do it for a living! :D stock timing chain, sensors checked/replaced
04 L67 will be rebuilt for speed specs,IC,genV...was thinking L32 but I already have the 67...but I'll worry about this rebuild later.
Felt such a noob when I re read this thread! Lol but we read and we learn. Is there anything that may be considered for a high mileage engine. Everything will be tripled checked. Starting the rebuild this weekend.
