I got the car back together and the hood latch back on CONFIRMED IT WAS SECURE AND LATCHED last night and as I was leaving my neighborhood this morning @ 12-16 MPH the ****ING hood flew open.

I saw it lift up and mashed the brake before it contacted the windshield but it still hit. The plastic clips for the hydraulic piston thing broke, the hinges are bent along with the corners of the hood at the top.

I cant catch a break this month.

Yeah A stocker. The hood is cursed. first month I had the car I slammed a flash light down at the ground and it bounced up landed on the hood and dented it. then in April of this month I had a biker stab my hood with a screw driver or something because I told him he was an asshole for riding my ass.

Hahaha..im sorry couldn't resist. glad it didn't do any serious damage though. Since it's cursed might as well replace it with the inferno :)

Yeah It happened to my friend mustang but it bent the roof by the windshield. I thought that was going to be my problem the first few seconds after it happened.

Do you have full coverage? Might be able to work that in if you have a good plan and low deductible... If not... sowy

But you can get a better hood now. Legit Reason too.

Or lose the hood and go Ricer... hoodz if fo' sissies :cool:

Oh yeah, almost forgot about the time my friend lifted my car into the rafters/ceiling with the hood up, it got nice and bent at the front tip.
............Yeah that hood has had good times.
