Underglow is illegal in Arizona, however, the lights are not placed to shine onto the ground. Arizona law mandates Amber up front and red in the back, in addition, the number of lights on the car is limited. The loophole is that the lights are not ON the car, they are IN the car with very little light reaching the road.
 
I am pushing the boundaries of the law, so unless I want to talk to the cops frequently, this is it. I've got a great dash cam video of me getting pulled over with the green lights on.
 
Why not remove the light, draw less attention to yourself and put the money in parts that make the car fun and not flashy. Seems like a win win to me.
