• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

So I lowered my car today...

The ad stated 1.90" in the front and 2.30 in drop in the rear. So i'm hoping it will settle more and be closer to what they. But over all not a bad product for as little as they cost new. Where else you going to find lowering springs New for 115 shipped?

I can't see anyway in hell that they will drop that far even after they "settle", my B&G's were noticable as soon as I took the car off the jacks. Along with my drop is not supposed to be as much as yours.

To answer your question about where can you find lowering springs for $115 shipped, ya ever think what your seeing is why they are only $115???

advertised drop rates are all wrong. not a single one of them is correct. where does eibach get off saying 1.3" front drop and 1" rear drop when my car was clearly over 2" lower front and back?

I still think spending 115 on new springs is better than paying for someone else's used springs for more usually.

Plus when buying these i really had no idea how much it would drop because i have never seen these on anyone's car here, so i figured for 115 i could try them out.

My gtp is riding on eibach pro springs and it clearly wasn't dropt 2". That's why I want intrax. But intrax springs are nearly impossible to find for the GP

Did you cut out the yellow bump stops? If not it will ride stiff as hell and the car will not drop to the advertised level. Been there done that...

Can somebody explain to me, is this suppost to be 2.3" LOWER in the back? The rear in the pics does not look like there was much change at all. And that is kinda what I am looking for, I want to lower the front of my car. I like where the back sits now. and I hate how the front is up in the air (like the befor pics)

most springs lower more in the front than the back.

Yes, and if you go to his link, it says 2.30" in the back and 1.90" in front.
if anything, this is backwards. but even still, I do not belive there is even 1" difference in the rear. Please dont get me wrong, Im not trying to bash anyone, The car looks great lower...... But I myself am interested in lowering my GTP, and woulld like as much info as possible

read and theres a old thread that has bios aprox on how much they lower the car

ill have to make a sticky in here at some point. however, getting someone to actually sticky it will be the hard part.

I also forgot to add that in the before pictures i had quite a bit of weight in the trunk so maybe that affected things.. and the after pictures had the truck pretty much empty so we could get into the trunk to get the nuts off.

how does that work, i would assume with a heavy engine in the front it would make the front drop more than the back?

The front end has stronger springs and struts to compensate for the weight of the engine, the back has light springs, for a softer ride.... and with that, when you put any weight in the trunk it sinks down easily.
