• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

btw, 205 is not a guess, i ran it on a dyno outside of columbus with a few guys from ProbeTalk forums. they did a group dyno day on a mobile dyno and were not real happy when they saw that. I will try to find the slips tomorrow

Pittman06 that would be nice car with a K20. Still have the car? Screw the others on here about taste and its a honda or what ever. You cna go fast with anything it depends on how deep your pockets are. Truth of the matter Id rock a Honda or a Subie or a d@mn audi for all I care as long as it was faster than my DD and Im sure it wouldnt take much to beat a bone stock GP GT. Some thing about a 2000lb car with a 300 hp engine that screams at 8K easily intrests me. As for Iron Indian "thank god I have taste in cars" havnt we been down that road before?? Even the Subie guys get respect at the drag strips once they spank a camaro or a mustang a few times. Grow up give some credit to the build and what the cars capable of instead of bashing who made the car in the 1st place.

you realize you're on a grand prix forum right? as a general rule, we don't respect people who drive a honda. it's our nature just because of all the retarded ricers we see. the one up a few posts, that's different. build it right and it's called a tuner and just a different platform to play with. it's preference.

There is zero logic in claiming that an engine which runs between 5-9K RPM versus one that runs between 3-6K will have less wear on the o-rings and possibly bearings in the long run.

Factor in practicality of racing an engine every time you move, they're about the same.

The real issue here is, if you're about muscle cars and even the GP, you like mid range torque and not having to rev to get some of it.

Top gear tested a Mistubishi Evo that was factory tuned for 400 BHP and put it in top gear and did the same with some small 1.*L econo-box and had a "drag race." Guess who won? The econo-box because the Evo has no torque to speak of. Sure after a while the evo will take off, but it sure takes a damn long time.

Thats pretty much what separates the muscle cars from the tuner cars, low end torque versus high end scream. Both can be made to go fast, one just seems to be a tad cheaper.

Good way to put it. Though honestly it's kind of like a trend with aftermarket stuff too. You can do a whole lot of cheap parts that max out all your mods to get the power. Or you can spend a lot on a few well made parts to get the same power and you have room to mod some more.

exactly, and i respect anyone who will tastfully dump there entire savings into any car thats done well. I've done that honda (sold it 2 1/2 years ago btw), a few mustang fox bodys, G-body GMs, Ford trucks, Chevy trucks, i even had a 87 Subie that we mudded as well as my current lifted Cherokee along side my GTP, i have taste in all cars that are done right and well.
