• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

So, I have this Clunker...

I figure this might light a fire around here...oh, well.

I realized that I had a vehicle that applied to the CARS program:

143k miles, peeling paint, body damage, etc. It has actually been in "insurance worthy" accidents five times under the ownership of my father-in-law, the original owner. We had it for three years, it never once left us stranded, and it accomplished a lot of things for us we could have not otherwise done. We got $3500 for it; more than we paid for it, and a ton more than anyone would ever pay us for it. We are at a point in life where we finally wanted to have a "nice" car, and this gave us an excuse to check the box for new car ownership. Up until now, every car has been paid for in cash.

Nice. To bad GTP's (S/C') only has an estimated 19MPG and not 18. Man! 1 mile!

Anyway nice job. New car looks GREAT!

cant tell, that's a solstice or a sky? if you got the blown solstice over the turbo sky then youre...drunk (like me :)).

id love either, but the sky has a turbo making it more appealing to me by a lot. i dont think id fit comfortably in either car though. im a good 6'1" so i need a bigger car with more room.

I think you are a bit confused; the Solstice and Sky are identical platforms. Do not take this the wrong way, but that is no surprise if you have a hard time distinguishing the two :th_winking: . It is a Sky. The height issue would not be so much of a problem as width is. The seats are what I think "sport" seats should be. The are well bolstered and hug you into the seat, which most in our wider society would complain about.
