So i have some exhaust questions...

Its not that small is it?
its my understanding that the camaro 3.8 and gp 3.8 are exactly the same. from what ive seen the camaro sounds way better than the the prix. im guessing this is because of our exhaust setup. unless im wrong this is my theory... if one were to be able to make equal length headers and pipe for the grand prix then it should sound very similar to the camaros. im asking because this local muffler guy is like a pipe guru and hes friends with my dad and i might see if i can pull this off. so am i missing a variable here or can this be done?
 


First...they aren't the same...a bunch of stuff is different. You'd run into so much fabrication it would be stupid. Put your money were it'll work for you.
 
damn... and i thought i was gettin somewhere... oh well. ill just stick with my straight pipes. and for the record... i must be the only guy that likes that setup. i actually have no problem with the drone or the extreme nasty coming from my exhaust. but i live in a redneck town so im used to open pipe exhaust on all engines.
 




If you have no resonator...it'll sound like like a buzzsaw...its hideous. Only straight piped car that has 6 cylinders I tend to like are the RB/VQ motors or the GN exhaust...
