Well today i went Advanced Auto i was bored and was looking around at mufflers magnaflow thrush and flowmaster. Flowmaster was way out of my price range at 112 for A muffler. Magnaflow i didnt care for the look so i went with the thrush mufflers. I got em "the better grade 1's theyre fully welded and were like 46 bucks a peice im hopping they sound good when i eventually do my exhuast "add these to puppys where the big metal cans are now. Then get 2 dual stainless tips then get the u bend deleted" should i delete ressy or no? gimme some heads up and has anybody done this mufflers on a GTP yet? :th_scratchhead: and and after my purchases " i bought syntehtic new penzoil platnium or w.e 10 w 30 and changed my oil it was bad oil" anyways after my purchases i snagged an application =]

thursh are the same as dynomax, im running the dynomax system, im going to be changing to a 2.5 inch system and getting rid of the glasspacks. over time they get louder and sound like crap. i might go with the borlas. i want no drone so i dunno. flowmasters sound like crap on these cars, ell i never really liked flowmaster

i happen to like the sound of the stock mufflers. my moms GT has them, my car is loud as hell cause of the catless downpipe and the puny resonator that comes with the dynomax kit. if i remember correctly i did the catback prior to installing the downpipe so it was quieter. once i put the downpipe in the car got louder

here is 1 of them i painted the thursh logo in deeper "dont worry its 2k degree temp pint ha." PLUS I WAS SUPER BORED also check my sick custom dash i painted =] also dont worry the red retard error with the red paint under the thrush came off "steel wool" =]

those look to be the wrong offset. you need center inlet and center outlet for the GP, im pretty sure thats how mine are

i used the picture as a reference to show you that the mufflers are both center inlet and outlet. take the paint off and tell em that you bought the wrong inlet and want to exchange it

no dude i just went under my car i checked everything is where it should be and matches the factory inlet outlets on my GTP you are confusing me i just went under it man. the outlets pointing towards the rear and the inlets on the side... nvm i dont no how to explain but they are the correct ones.

DUDE CHECK THE pics :th_biggrin2: these are from the stock right side exhaust dont worry dude im not mad or anything if anything i feel thankful for you haha i was like freaking out CRAP lol anyways i used a method to figure out i was right haha but yea dude its a direct fit "im pretty sure" id say 78 % sure haha

so does anybody know an easy way to do this or should i just bring my stuff to a shop n have em weld her? this is where im stuck at. plus if you saw off the mufflers by the inlet can u just slide it over and clamp it or something i dont no yet also im wanted dual tips on each side that wont rust anybody know a place thats easy on the wallet also? i believe the pipe size is 2 and a quarter inlet and outlet. that is a direct fit right?

funny i always thought they were center, oh well. take it to a good shop that has a good welder, most guys cant weld for the life of them.
