My 01 has the inner liners as well and has zero rust in the rear wheel wells. My rockers are in awesome shape too. Por 15 really is a wonderful can of stuff.

I used por 15 on my rockers as well. Hopefully they last for several more years, although these rockers tend to rust from inside to out.

I think the rockers rot out because of the water getting under the side skirt.

Then explain the SE without side skirts, Most SEs I see are much much worse than the GTs and GTPs.

People with SE cars usually don't take as good of care of them tho. I've never seen an SE being washed. Lots of GTP's and GT's. Is any car with a 3100 really worth washing.

If you saw the "drainage" GM put in those rockers, it's no surprise to see them rot away. Water and dirt and other sh!t gets in and doesn't get out.
