Snow + Stupid People

Last year, around the same time (late dec), the combination of slick streets and stupid drivers claimed my 1994 Cadillac Deville, and almost converted it into an Eldorado. After escaping unscathed, I thought all was well....
Well, this year I guess, can be no different. Guy turned in front of me, because he was in a rush to get to Burger King and get a coffee(thats what he said!!!). He was very appologetic, and completely admited fault, and got a failure to yield ticket. Was driving a 4x4 Jeep-Imagine that!! Had her towed to the body shop, highly doubt its totaled. I do notice that the gap between the front doors and fenders is very wide at top and very narrow at the bottom, so I am thinking the entire front clip is bent. Hopefully they can get it done soon, until then I can look good in the Hyundi Sonata I get to drive!! I had the camera on the wrong setting, and it went dead before I could get any more pictures of the Prix.

Not quite as bad but still bad enough:

Haha just re-read the thread how does driving the sonata compare? ROFLMAO

It has Electronic Stability Control, and ABS, sunroof, steering wheel radio controls, XM radio, MP3 CD, 5 speed auto-stick, the dash is electro-luminescent white/blue, and all the buttons (steering wheel, windows/locks, etc...) light up blue, looks MUCH better then dull red!! Dash has woodgrain and chrome accents, and woodgrain shifter. The 2.4L 4 cyl has 175HP, so its not that far behind the 3800, but its definatly noticable. But the 3800 doesn't pull 23.1MPG in the city, and 32 on the highway. Their 3.3 V6 offers 250HP, and I bet that feels more at home. Seats are roomy, and comfortable.

When they said Hyundai I immediatly was like :th_crying1:, but now I.... I.... I............ kinda like it. I have always attributed Kia/Hyundai as a POS car, but I looked into them after driving this one, and I think that I could buy one! I now can understand why people buy them left and right, if it costs me over $30K for a nice Impala LTZ decked out (before the economy crisis), and one of these Hyundais comes fully decked out with NAV, infinity sound, leather, for $28K, AND has 10yr/100K warranty. HMMM let me think about it. I can feel the inrush of laughs, but don't knock it if you never tried it (I did!)

my 3800 gets better gas mileage than 21-32...not by much

I wonder if the frame or the support bar are bent, if so they should total it. Maybe throw that money towards an SE Lip?

Than they should total it, if they don't than point it out to them. If they don't have the guy at the collision shop get you an SE front lip and the grills, they shouldn't charge you for them.

I assume SE is Special Edition?? Whats the difference, is there pictures of the difference somewhere? I am gonna try to get them to do it, even if it was $50 or something, it would be cheaper than buying the parts.

Well, I called them today, and told them I wanted them to see about putting the SE front end on it. The guy was being kind of a dick about it though, like they didn't want to do it. They're supposed to call me back. They said I would have to pay the difference from what the stock was, compared to original :( . Cant be that much difference if any though??!! If they weren't being such dickheads about it, I'd tell them I want the inferno front installed on it, and tell them to order the **** from PFYC!
