Smooth my ride

GTP in RTP

I am trying to make my daily commute as smooth as possible .
Here is what I have done so far : new tires, alignment, front tie rods, rear struts (complete assemblies), Moog rear end links.
I am thinking front strut assemblies will give me the best improvement. Ball joints ? Sway Bar ? Any suggestions ?

That's a good amount of things to get the best out of the car, although front sway bar links will make a large difference in handling while turning. Still do the front struts. If you get a new sway bar, it may be an improvement also because Dorman's bar is thicker, and solid comparing to the stock one being thinner and hollow. Definitely use moog front end links instead of the Dorman's that come with the bar if you do decide to change it. Moog links up front alone will make a large difference is they're still oem.

I can't think of anything else right now, but changing the lower control arms/ball joints as an assembly may help a bit more if the bushings are worn out, but it's not really worth the price of new ones and another alignment for what it will help. Unless you have clunking, it will solve that if you still have it after changing the sway bar links.

The other thing to think about is hub assemblies if you're getting a vibration from up front.

+1 on the Moog front end links. Quick, easy, and cheap, and makes a HUGE difference in handling.

If you're getting a bounce, the strut assemblies would definitely be a huge improvement. LCAs won't do much for you unless you're getting a clunk, like was said before.

Eh, I'd beg to differ on the LCA's.

They'd make a pretty big impact if his current ones are shot.

Rock Auto sells complete ones as well.

Forgot to mentions, the front hubs were just done also. No clunking , just road feel is not as smooth as I would like.
F**K , I must be getting soft in my old age , LOL.

You are right Odi. Just trying to improve. Also trying to determine the best tire pressure for the best ride vs. tire life.

The sticker says 30 psi, but I'll always put in 32-35 since I'd rather have longer tire life. So use 30 and see how you like it, what are they at now?
