Smoking car, no info

Update...at 9pm last night pulled 2 codes from the OBDII meter. P0306 & P0507, I know the first is the #6 plug I changed already. The second, is something to do w/the idle control system & it does seem like one of the pulleys squeaks like a goose at times. Not sure what if anything that would have to do w/ the oil consumption. But I cleared those codes last night. Drove my 3 miles to work...no smoke, no rough idle and the check engine light never popped back on. Not sure what to think at this point.
