smoked a ram 1500 "hemi"

coming home from work last nite golng up university av...it changes from 30 speed limit to 45 on a 4 lane with some curves there were 3 cars ahead in the left lane so i passed on the right about 55 mph...a nice looking black ram1500 swung right behind me real close ..sped up to 65 hes still right there soon as he could he pulled alongside..about a quarter mile ahead a light turned red...sitting at the light hes torqeing his truck so it was on...light goes green we both floor it side by side to bout 30 then i started walking him by 80 i had 2-3 cars on him so i quit...at least he didnt do a ricer flyby..i was proud of my little pontiac...by the way my GTP is bone stock except for an open cone so he could hear what just killed him lol
 


The transmission was probably broken in the hemi and he only had 1st lol


It's not that I don't believe you, but that I know how much quicker a hemi 1500 is vs a completely stock GTP. He shouldn't have decimated you, but he should have been walking you after 30. Unless you have a video to show???
 
Altho, it could have been a "hemi" badged v6 1500 lol. That would be believable. I've seen people do that to cars before.
 
Those hemi rams are slow. And so are the chargers/300/magnum unless we are talking srt...

I got killed by a ram 1500 today.... trying to merge in front of him but he wouldn't let me. but I was driving my company Jeep Compass, I used the slap shiftier and all... Damn...................
Those Jeeps are weird, has one of those don't feel the shift deals.

I think only I can hear my sarcasm.
 
yes the trainyard is right there..those hemis are not too fast specially pulling a 2 ton truck from a dig it looked to be new 2010 or 11...

the hemi's flat out suck until the update in 10 or 11 where it went from just over 300 to 390hp and 408tq

but ya my 5.9 ram would alot of the 5.7 hemi's and i only had flow mods and a tune
 
not so sure about this "hemi's suck" thing. 03-08 make 345hp, 380 torque stock. thats not that bad. not saying there fast, but nothing to laugh at
 
it looked like the top one minus the wheels so i guess it was a 03-05 ...still looked good tho... course everything looks new to me i drive a 1998
