Smoke that smells like burning plastic?

it doesnt happen all the time but sometimes when I start up my car I can see a smoke come from my engine bay. I opened my hood and it appears that its coming from the rear. Its too low for me to see where its coming from. It smells like burning plastic to me. Any ideas guys? :th_scratchhead:

You need a trip to Sears/Harbor Freight or a local parts store. Pick up an inspection mirror. It's a mirror on a antenna looking thing. This will be an invaluable tool in your arsenal of diagnostics.

Or you can reach back and wipe your fingers just under the lip of the rear valve cover to see it it's leaking. If nothing there, then look at the rear manifold, anything laying on it burning?
