Smog pump delete?

I am lucky enough to have a stinking smog pump according to my buddy's dhp tuner. Also the sticker under the hood says I'm CA emiisions compliant. Will it affect my AFR reading on a wideband and where is the thing so I can remove it, if it does affect my AFR readings.
 


Get rid of that shiz...just rip it out and cap off the vacuum lines attached to it...then again...I've never seen a L67 car with a smog pump so maybe a pic would help..
 
Air injection pumps usually inject the air downstream in between the two beds of the cat. Removing it wont affect your a/f readings. Why would you want to remove it though? Its electric, correct?
 


I don't want to remove it if it doesn't affect my AFR readings. I'm getting ready to install my wideband and want to make sure the pump won't throw my readings off.
 
the air pump feeds from behind the drivers foglight is the pump then it runs up the side of the trans to the back of the rear exhaust manifold. it uses fresh air to neutralize the toxins from the exhaust to keep the life of the cat. i got rid of all my stuff cause now i run headers, and i never had a cat.
