INFORMATION Smaller interior detailing rags?

I have a lot of 16x16" microfiber towels and they're great for glass and outside the car, but inside they are bulky and cumbersome when applying protectant or getting into nooks and crannies.
I had some smaller rags, but they were cheap autozone junk.
Any suggestions on a good rag for interior detailing of trim and dash(I have other rags for glass and paint)?

Get yourself some foam applicators or microfiber applicators for applying protectants to the dash.

What type of protectants are you using?

For example on my personal vehicles I use Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer to remove any dusting and any remnants of the previous protectant as it has a light cleaner in it. I keep my dash clean so Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer is all I need. I then follow up with 303 Automotive with a microfiber applicator. Prior to 303 I was using Meguiar's Natural Shine which also has a cleaner built in.

A microfiber applicator will knock the shine down a little and will aid in cleaning if the product has a cleaner built in. Foam works but a final buff with a microfiber towel would be recommended. Actually recommended for wither application to remove any excess product.

A long response but I hope this helps.

Im a big meguiars fan when it comes to the interior. I use the natural shine detailer.

My favorite foam applicators are the Meguiar's one's. You can find them cheaper at various detail places online.

For microfiber applicators my local Pep Boys sells some made by Peak like these.

Either applicator will work. Natural shine works really well and it has a light cleaner built in. As I stated I typically wipe down the vinyl, rubber and plastics with Meguiar's quik interior detailer and then follow up with Natural Shine. It's a really nice combo. I come back with a microfiber towel for a light final buff to remove any excess product.
